LNR Junior Competition Team Trains with Olympian Kikkan Randall!
This past Sunday, October 26 LNR Junior Competition Team members were able to test their speed against Olympian Kikkan Randall during their morning interval workout by French Park in Plymouth. Juniors learned skate sprinting tactics and technique skills from one of the best sprinters in the world.
Following the workout Kikkan enjoyed a post workout brunch with the LNR Juniors and coaches. During the meal she shared about her journey as an aspiring young athlete to America’s first women’s podium winner. She also shared about the obstacles that she faced in the ten year journey of reaching her Olympic and World Cup goals.
LNR Juniors were thrilled to receive a signed L.L. Bean Nalgene water bottle and poster by Kikkan. Juniors celebrated her new pregnancy with a cake and a gift of a Loppet onesie!
