This snowshoe run / walk follows the same course as the 10K Classic/ Skate Ski Tours (skipping the two biggest hills). Course marshals may also be present at critical junctions to guide and cheer you on. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Fluid Stations\nThe 10K course will have 2 fluid stations stocked with water and electrolyte.  Toilets will be located at the start area and Trailhead building. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Transportation\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Race Day Parking\nPoint to Point participants (including Sunday Snowshoe Loppet) should park in the Mortenson Parking Lot and take the shuttle bus to the start. \n\n7:00am – 11:00am Shuttles from Mortensons Parking Lot to Start Line Area at Wirth Beach\n10:00am – 1:00pm Shutttles from Trailhead (finish line) to Mortensons Parking Lot\n\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Dropoffs and Pickups\n\nPickup in Theodore Wirth Park: Dropoffs and pickups will be allowed at the Chalet (1301 Theodore Wirth Pkwy)\, approx 1/4-mile walk from the finish at the Trailhead. Please note that access to the Trailhead will be closed at Hwy 55. You will need to approach the Chalet via Plymouth Ave from the east or Golden Valley Rd from the north. The Trailhead is unavailable for pickups. Your fans are also welcome to park at Mortenson Parking Lot and you may walk (approx half mile) from the finish to their vehicle or take the Trailhead-Mortenson shuttle bus. We recommend that you consider putting dry walking shoes and socks in your drop bag for walking to your car.\n\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Road Closures\n\nTheodore Wirth Pkwy will be closed to all traffic from Hwy 55 to Plymouth Ave: Saturday 7am-1:30pm & Sunday 7am-12pm\n\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Bag Drop/Claim\n\n\nBag drop will be located at the start line area. We will provide bag tags\, but you will need to bring a fully enclosed or duffel-type bag for your personal items. Do NOT leave wallets or other valuables in your bag as the Loppet will not be responsible for these items. Please leave the kitchen sinks and lead weights at home.  Bags will be transported to the finish line at the Trailhead where they can be picked up before 3pm.\n\nIndoor Changing Area – Trailhead locker rooms. We understand that we cannot fulfill our mission of connection and community without acknowledging and addressing the many barriers that exist for some members of our community\, especially our BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ community. As an outdoor organization that is operating on stolen Dakota land in Minneapolis\, we recognize the importance of honoring both the land and the community in how we operate.  \nIn striving to fulfill our mission and values\, we reserve a number of reduced fee/free entries for those for whom the cost of participation is prohibitive. If you are interested in participating in a Loppet event and this applies to you\, we invite you to apply for financial assistance through the application linked below.  \nLOPPET EVENTS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE APPLICATION \nAs a way to recognize the Dakota land we run with and steward\, all Indigenous people can participate in any Loppet event for free by emailing events@loppet.org and requesting a discount code. \n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Can I change my race distance or transfer my entry to a friend?\n				\nThe deadline to make race distance changes is 4:00pm on the Friday a week before the race. After that\, a registrant wishing to change to a shorter distance will need to register and pay the full fee for the new race distance.\nYou can change which event you registered for through RunSignUp.
