Fat Bike Fundamentals
Experience the thrill of fat biking with enthusiastic and knowledgeable instructors! We’ll start by addressing proper bike fit and appropriate tire pressure based on conditions. Next we’ll demonstrate riding techniques specific to fat biking, including body and pedal position, shifting, braking, climbing, descending, and basic cornering. We’ll also go over important communication skills and trail etiquette. Don’t have a bike? We have a limited number of fat bike for rent. You can add a bike rental during registration.
Skill level: Beginner/Novice – This class is designed to accommodate everyone—no previous fat biking experience required. Learn basic skills and best practices for safety, comfort, and enjoyment.

Indoor Mountain Bike Fundamentals
Winter weather got you down? New year’s resolution to improve your mountain bike riding? Or maybe this peaks your interest? We have indoor space to teach mountain bike skills. This is a great way to build your confidence and start your 2025 riding season. Skills covered: Ready position, bike/body separation, braking, shifting, cornering, ratcheting and more…

Registration
Refund Policy
The Loppet will issue a full refund of the program fee minus the original processing fee up until 4 weeks before the program starts. Between 4 and 3 weeks from the program start date, a 50% refund will be issued. There are no refunds for any cancellations within less than 3 weeks of the start of a program.
