Siena Ellingson and Amanda Kautzer Excel at U.S. Junior Biathlon Trials

Four LNR athletes competed at the U.S. Biathlon Junior Trials in Anchorage, Alaska, December 26-30, 2015. Siena Ellinson, Amanda Kautzer, Alex Larson and Halcyon Brown all raced at a very rainy and windy Kincaid Park in Anchorage.

Siena Ellingson had a first and two second place finishes overall, qualifying her for the World Junior Championships which will be held in early February in Romania. Amanda Kautzer had a rough start to the three-day series, but pulled out a big race on day three as she qualified for World Junior Championships and the Youth Olympic Games which will be held in late February in Lillehammer, Norway.
