Become a Mental Health Ambassador!
In partnership with Mentor Minnesota, The Loppet is offering a no-cost, youth led Mental Health Ambassador cohort this Fall. What is the Mental Health Ambassador program? An evidence-informed program that trains youth and adults in mental health support, suicide prevention, and advocacy so they can make a real impact in their communities.
We’re looking for Youth ages 14-18 as well as Adult Advocates who are involved in The Loppet community such as participants, employees, or volunteers. The program is comprised of 8 sessions, some in-person and some virtual.

What will you do?
- Get trained in Youth Mental Health First Aid
- Learn to recognize signs, offer support, and connect peers to help
- Learn practical tools and local resources before crises emerge
- Work on an advocacy project to make real change in your school or community

Participants will be eligible to receive a stipend for their participation:
- Youth can receive up to $250
- Adults can receive up to $150
