LNR Athlete Represents US at Youth Olympic Games

LNR athlete Amanda Kautzer is representing the United States at the Youth Olympic Games in Lillehammer this week. Her first race was on Saturday, the 6km Sprint where she shot 80% (1,1) and finished in amazing 10th place! On Sunday, starting in 10th place, 59 sec behind 1st, she competed in the 7.5km Pursuit, where she slipped to 27th place shooting (3,2,1,2). Vasek Cervenka of Grand Rapids, MN has a spectacular day on Sunday, starting in 36th position and moving up to 20th after shooting 95% (0,0,0,1). pictures from Youth Olympic Games and World Junior Championships in Romania where Amanda raced in late January. Amanda will continue racing on Wednesday (Single Mixed Relay) and Sunday (Mixed Relay).
